Author Websites and Social Media Information

Because many of you might be at home without any books to read, many authors have been posting videos of themselves reading their books or sharing an activity you can try at home.  I will be updating this page, so check back!

J. K. Rowling is releasing a new book called The Ickabog! She is posting two chapters per day online. AND she wants children to illustrate the printed version! More details can be found at: https://www.theickabog.com/home/

WeAreTeachers.com has a great list of authors performing read alouds and other activities.

Jarrett J. Krosoczka. Author/Illustrator of the Lunch Lady series.  He has been posting videos on You Tube called "Draw Every Day with JJK (old ones are archived to view): https://www.youtube.com/studiojjk

Chris Van Dusen. Aaron Reynolds  (author of Creepy Carrots and Creepy Pair of Underwear plus many others) is posting "The Aaron Reynolds Stay-at-Home Show" videos on You Tube. He said he will be posting a couple of videos per week. Here are his first two:  (Video 1) and (Video 2).
