All of the library's books and e-books can be accessed in Destiny Discover. Patrons can log in to browse our catalog of print books, read e-books, put books on hold, and see what books they have checked out. Also, I have set up several Collections of recommended books.
You can type your search in the bar above and it will take you right to our catalog. If the search bar isn't loading properly (it happens sometimes), follow these three steps:

BSS has over 100 ebooks (or "electronic books") in our collection, which can be accessed by typing the word "ebook" into the search bar above or viewing the Ebooks tab in Destiny Discover. You can also search for a specific title. Please note that this catalog is for print books as well as ebooks, so not everything you see is available to read online.
Destiny Discover is also available as an app in the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

I set up usernames/passwords for the students entering Pre-K through 8th grade.

Try FirstInitialLastName if your login isn't working (KFerguson21). Passwords can be changed after logging in for the first time if the student wishes to do so. If you are using a personal device or computer and want to save the login information for the future, just select the box that says “Stay logged in.” If you are having trouble logging in, just email me.

READING E-BOOKS:
Once you see an e-book you are interested in, you can click on the green "Open" button and start reading. Or if you click on More Details, you have the option of checking out the book or reading any reviews other students might have shared. After reading, students can "Rate It!" with their own review. Like a printed book, once an e-book is checked out only that student has access to it. So please only check out a book you intend on reading so others can enjoy it. When you are finished with a book, please click on the "Return" button to make it available for other students.
Once you open the book, use the arrow button to the right of the screen to turn the pages.
