5th Grade Scavenger Hunt

After spending the first few weeks researching Saints during Library class, 5th graders had a chance to move around and perform a scavenger hunt. They used the Goose Chase app and worked in teams to test their knowledge about the different areas of the library.  It was great for them and also for me to see what areas of the library they are unfamiliar with and might need further instruction.  Each "mission" required the teams to take a photo or video of something from the list, such as a book from the fantasy fiction section, the circulation desk, the book return bin, etc.

Here are a few examples of the missions:

Take a photo of your team displaying perfect story time behavior.

Take a photo of yourselves looking scared while holding a book from the Horror/Suspense section.

Take a photo of a book from the Graphic Novel section...

Take a silly group photo holding a book from the Humor section.

It was definitely a fun way to explore the library!
